"Julia's extensive experience helped us analyse our business and develop a detailed plan for future communications. The strategy gave us renewed confidence and we frequently return to it as our little guiding light." Anna Barber

House of Kin creates playful worlds for families and children through imaginative architecture, interior design and art. After a whirlwind first few years – including a string of successful projects and bagging a prestigious BIID award - Anna and James wanted to create a long term plan to evolve the studio.

A priority was to increase recognition by sharing their pioneering approach with family-focused clients in hospitality, education and private residential sectors.

They were also keen to find opportunities to add House of Kin’s voice to conversations around family spaces and establish an authentic tone to match their purposefully playful approach.

Through peer reviews, industry research and client interviews, we were able to pinpoint the most valuable ways House of Kin could nurture relationships across sectors. Their strategy identified several ways to reach their audiences, clear messaging aimed at client pain points, a media approach to share their unique perspective and a refreshed website structure highlighting all aspects of their work.
